Here too. Because the message was so cryptic, I called back on my work phone (a law office). As soon as "alex" answered, he hung up. Figured it for a scam.
Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.
Do not answer his phone calls anymore. The man is sick in the head. There is something wrong with him and he is harassing people over the phone. Sad that people try and scam others out of their money.
