These clowns actually left a message on answering machine this a.m., Pacific time. It's a robotic canned 'voice' but now outrageously impersonates the real-life IRS Commissioner, John Koskinen -- he was the guy that defended IRS personnel before Congress in the big IRS scandal about their targeting right-wing groups for audit last year. Remember???
Surely you'd think the IRS might want to know its officers' names are being FRAUDULENTLY used in this manner. The same phone number as above was left for call-back -- supposedly there's an 'arrest warrant' for me if I don't call. Bring it, jackwagons! I am contacting the REAL IRS about this even though they can't/won't do anything about it.
The beginning got cut off since it was left on my voicemail. It was a computer voice recorded message saying "...my name by the tax crime dept. of legal affairs with the U.S. Treasury. This is Officer John (last name unintelligible) and the moment you receive this message I need you to call us back immediately to our department number to 425-369-7187. I repeat the number is 425-369-7187 as it is a matter of urgency. I am looking forward to speak with you. Thank you."
I freaked at first, but when I typed the number in Google I was able to quickly disregard the message and add it to my block list.
I have an unlisted number and I didn't appreciate the phone call from this number, and its also illegal for him to say he was an officer when he isn't, I'm also on the "do not call registry", I'm not happy about the disturbance, he called it a tax crime, officer john costkin. What a shame to accuse someone of an uncommitted crime, I should be compensated.
Same thing. I called the number back, I received the same threats- warrant, big fines, going to federal prison. After I asked why I haven't received anything sent in the mail, it took an extremely strange turn. The guy started making graphic sexual threats about getting raped in prison and two guards would be sent daily to rape me. In asking why, he replied "I bet you would like it if I shoved my big co** up your as*" then disconnected the call.
I recommend calling these sick miserable humans back if you miss the call and contest every claim that they make. Collectively, we need to show them that we are smarter than that. The only reason we receive these calls is because they know we are easy targets. Lets rise up and fight back against these animals!
