I keep getting calls from this number and once they left a message saying "This is National Home Protection...are you there?" And that is it. It sounded like a real human, but it is most likely pre-recorded.
They keep calling daily - salesman named Mark from "Home Protection." He is being connected to the line by a robo-dialer and there's usually a several second pause between you picking up the line and saying hello and the salesperson being connected. They are in violation of Do-Not-Call as I am current on the list and I never give the number they called out to anyone for any reason.
If you answer or press 1 for them it is verifying that you have an assigned cell number. Very likely you will then go on a list of 'good' numbers to be sold to others. Don't answer, don't press 1.
Got a call from this number today...no message left. Thanks for the other folks that have written their comments about this #. Love my Samsung phone...I just added them to my phones Reject list.
Bet the government gets on it right away...just like they do with everything else! You have got to be kidding if you think that attempt to resolve is legit!
