Called at 12:30pm Caller ID showed FTL with a 425-409-9432 number. If I don't recognize the phone number, I don't answer. Added this number to my call blocker......... Sure did a lot of good signing up with the Feds do not call list. Typical of most "federal programs"........a complete waste of taxpayer dollars that doesn't work.
Actually it does work. People are prosecuted under the DNC law. It is not perfect and will not stop determined scofflaws and criminals. Invest in a call blocker.
Same happened to me just minutes ago. Asked if I had a computer then proceeded to say he was with Microsoft and had detected problems in a very Indian accent. When I politely asked why he would need to ask if I had a computer if it was sending them a signal he got very upset. He then got all threatening saying I was Phillip ******** which I am not. When I told him so he freaked out and told me to get lost as he hung up. It's nothing but a scam call.
Sorry. No provider can automatically filter calls. but every provider has the option for YOU to block numbers. takes some effort on your part, but solves the problem. or just don't answer if you don't recognize the CallerID.
