They called my cell just now. After me saying "hello?" for a few seconds, all I got back was a choppy "hello" before they hung up or got cut off. It seemed like there was a very bad connection on their end. Their phone number looks familiar to me and I've been getting similar calls recently (they say hello, then call immediately drops), so it could be the same call center.
The area code breaks out to Washington and I don't know or have business with anyone in Washington.
I just keep calling the number back and messing with them.
I would love to get everyone doing this... it drives them nuts.
I ask if I can put them on hold for a moment to check what type of car I drive... then I just make them wait. Sometimes I just give them a bunch of random info, then call them back for more... it's pretty fun.

When I call back, they do know my name, first and last, but they have me driving a car I've never owned, and have an address I've never lived at. So I asked them why they are "verifying" info if they never had the correct info in the first place... they just said maybe they call me back. I said, no it's okay, I'll just keep calling you back. So I do, and keep messing with them, giving them random info and making them stay on hold while I "look stuff up for verification".
Yeah, I have a job where I can get some downtime and mess around so anyway, that's all I got! Please post if your lawyer helps out! :)
