Got a call from this number yesterday at 9 am.  A recording announces athat they are "my credit card company' but not to worry--everything is allright with my account, they just want to offer us new low rates. . ."  The don't say which credit card company they are and I'd say it's doubtful they are a credit company at all.  The recording says press one to speak with a live person and start lowering your interest rate or press 3 to stop the calls.  I pressed 3 and nothing happened, except today I got the same call at 9 am again.  I didn't answer.  Their number is from my home exchange and the number is similar to my own, so I tried calling them back, but got the message that the phone has been disconnected or is no longer in service.  It seems like they might have figured out a way to masquerade as a number similar to yours in order to get their calls answered.
