Just got the same message from Mike Nichols as above. Have blocked the number and will also report to Fair Credit reporting act. Have no debt and am so tired of these scams. There has to be a way to stop these people.
Started getting calls from this number in March ...
"Hi, this message is for _______. This is Mike Nichols, I need to speak to you on a very important business matter please return my call at 1-800-669-2661 x2230 Thank you."
I recieved a call last night from a Linda who left a message, but sounded like she was some kind of long lost friend and she wanted me to call he back at 800-669-2661 ext. 2238. Must be some confused (and very unethical) debit collector . . . I think I'll string them along for a while, afterall, time is money!
Called my cell, left no message. If it is a debt collector, they are indeed confused. I have no debt. Not even a car or credit card balance. Sounds like a scam. One more call and it's going on my blocked list.
