Yes, I got a call from this "David Gray", too, about some US Treasury problem. Guy had a slight foreign accent (sounds East Indian) and the background sounded cheap for lack of a better word. He left a 425-678-3622 number to call him back. It was also the number on my caller i.d. I really wish they'd stop this stuff. *sigh*
Received exact same voice mail from this "David Gray from Treasury", asked me to call back at 425-678-3622 to avoid criminal charge. Knew it was a scam. Checked in here, seems he's really busy trying to get some victims. Don't fall for that.
I called again for fun and got a lady with a distinct Indian accent. I asked her why I was getting a call from the Treasury Department in Washington State. She just said, "Mm-hmm," so I asked again and asked for her agent ID number. She again said, "Mm-hmm," and after a couple of seconds in silence added, "What would you like?" I said, "Well, you left me a message, and I asked you three questions. Are you going to answer any of my questions?" She answered, "No, I'm not going to answer any of your questions," and hung up on me.
