received call today stating Washing Police Dept of collections badge number B712 received claim on name and ss # and a warrant issued on my name and to be forwarded to my state, said I can withdraw if I call Steven mason contact name

Me too! Any idea who it is and is serving warrants via voicemail message even legal?

This is a well-known scam.  Do NOT talk to them or give them any information.  And, no, it is not possible to serve a warrant over the phone.  The callers are offshore criminals.

This is (one of many) criminal extortion scams that have been going on for years. Many are operating overseas and out of the reach of US law enforcement, while others are operating within the confines of prison cells here in the US, using contraband cell phones. Others are using VOIP. Either way, they are able to disguise their identities and locations, making them next to impossible to prosecute. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting victims' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I got the same message yesterday then a text today.  Did a search and found a load of google hits like this website abou fraud.  I sent them back a text telling them I'd contacted the Secretary of State's office about this.
Then I blocked the number from my phone.

I wondered because I got a VM yesterday and the lady sounded like she was from the Caribbean.  I called the number back out of curiosity and it rings with no answer.
