Called today at 8:43 AM! Luckily I was already up and out the door. In any case I wouldn't have answered - I never answer numbers I don't recognize nor do I ever call them back. No doubt a scam of some sort as NoVaGal above said. I'm also in VA but diff area code - I think these bozos think if we get a call from instate we'll answer it no matter what. WRONG!

I am also in Va and also do not answer calls from unknown numbers, especially with no name/business attached to said number. Also had another call just a couple minutes prior from Cambridge, Mass which I also blocked and ignored. I am seeing lots of new numbers of lot calling, must not be getting bites on old numbers.
Called me at 8:34am today. I answered phone and a male asked for a name. I said sorry you have the wrong number, he then said, "wrong name, right number" and introduced himself and said he was calling from VA's Fraternal Order of Police. I knew he was calling for a donation. So I just hung up.
