Robo call left a message that a lawsuit was going to be filed against me. The first part of the message was cut off so I don't know who it came from. When I returned the call no one answered. Other sites report this as a spam call or a call from the IRS. THE IRS DOES NOT CALL AND THREATEN LAWSUITS! A TRUE LAWSUIT HAS TO BE SERVED OR SENT CERTIFIED MAIL FOR PROOF OF RECEIPT. IF SOMEONE IS GOING TO SUE YOU THEY HAVE YOUR ADDRESS, THEY WILL SEND YOU OFFICIAL MAIL WITH CONTACT INFORMATION YOU CAN VERIFY!
I, too, received the robocall threatening an IRS lawsuit. The recorded message kept breaking up, so it was difficult to listen to. Didn't bother to call back and deleted number.
