Who called from 4402017618

Scammer. They left a voicemail saying they were the IRS and I owed taxes. They were getting a magistrate judge to issue a warrant for my arrest and to call them back as soon as possible. They've called four times today. Don't fall for this scam.

These people have been calling for the last few months. I've tried calling back to give them an earful but the number does not go through.

People remember - The IRS will contact you by mail and not by phone.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Called threatening legal action if I didn't call back. It's a scam

I got a call from that number. I actually called back and they answered. I gave the dude an earful and he hung up within 10 seconds
