These people are a bunch of Scammers that should be reported to the F.B.I. I don't like being threatened with
a criminal offense concerning my Taxes. Please send me the Email of the FBI as I would like to contact them.
Also these people have a Foreign Accent!!
I noticed this 440 area code on my caller id on our home phone. I just happened to be home this morning when they called so I answered. It was a recorded message I had 48 hrs to contact them regarding an important tax matter, the IRS, warrant for my arrest etc.! So naturally I called immediately! I knew immediately it was a scam because I work in the tax field. However, the foreign (Asian) creep that I spoke to had my name and address, repeatedly told me there was an issue with my 2012 tax return and they were issuing a warrant for my arrest in 45 minutes! I spoke over him while he kept saying he would see me in jail and I won't be saying this while I'm behind bars!!! TOTAL SCAM AND AFRAID FOR HOW MANY PEOPLE MAY FALL FOR THIS CRAP!!!!!!!
I really don't think they're getting a cut--if it's taking too long, I think that's probably because the IRS is a bureaucracy, and it probably takes some time for the issue reports to make it to the right person.
SCAMMER This is the same man who in June used the number 916 917 0014 which was also a scam --- which I fell for the first time and they are now calling me from this number ---- I will never fall for it again. Do not return this call. He says he is from the United States Treasury and you owe money for back years --- THE IRS AND US TREASURY never call on the phone.
