I got one from this number earlier tonight which said "Hi Jim?". I didn't bother replying, but based on what others are saying, I can expect a followup text inviting me to chat to a bot on YIM. Pft. My wife had a similar msg earlier today sent to her cell, using her name. Not from the same number, but when she searched Google, it was the same deal.
did you get a new phone lately? i did yesterday and did a data transfer at Best Buy. somehow i ended up with photos that were not mine. already had me concerned.
