I got this message too, from the number 6264678605, when asked who they were, they told me "lol if you want to know who this is u got to add me on Y! messenger, my name is textieflirty685," I responded to them with the usual, "How about you tell me now or I block and report your number?" currently, no response, going to report the number.. stupid fecking telebot scams..
I got the same message as well. Knew my name also from someone named Jen. They used a different number. ( 1-254-892-0420 ). Those of you who have ATT, remember to report these messages by forwarding them to 7726.
I got a text this evening right along the same lines as y'all but a different number. They just said, "How's it going Amanda ! This is Jen. Plz add me on Y! msgr so we can talk a bit, it's: mizparjuliet I looked up the number and it's out of Illinois. I didn't respond.
I've never even had a yahoo account, and I've gotten 2 messages in the last 24 hours. First said, "how's it going Kimmie ! This is Jen. Plz add my yah00 so we can chat a bit, its: rlunoemi". Second said, "Hiya Kimmie ! This is Jenny. Please add me on Yhoo! msgr so we can talk a bit, its: tjiivy"
Just got a new iPhone thru AT&T directly. But this is the 2nd weird thing that has happened since I got my upgrade. First was a charge for 9.99 on my bill that neither me or my boyfriend asked for, and that, when we texted the stop code, told us that neither of us were subscribed!
Is there some sort of flaw in the systems of some major carriers now that is causing random people to have access to our info?
