Got a call yesterday but I was busy and the number looked suspicious. Yesterday it was 440-249-7727. So when I saw this number call today, I answered out of curiosity. The guy said his name was James calling from pre-trial intervention about a pending case in his office. I hung up after that, knowing it was a scam. Hope they don't call again.
This jerk with an authoritative voice left 2 threatening messages on my cell phone, first from 440-249-7727 and then 440-249-7747. I did not pickup calls from stranger. "A case has been filed against you. I need to speak to you or your attorney of record today, immediately. Contact me at 440-249-7727. If I do not hear back from you or your attorney I will document that you have waived your right to counsel and the case will be filed. Govern yourself accordingly." This is clearly a scam and how do I stop it?
My wife also got the say threat and same call. She told them when he was yelling at her that she was being arrested that she was out of breath cause she is on oxygen. He said to her that he don't give a god damn. Sorry for my language but she will go to jail with or without the o2 and was very rude and upsetting to her. I called back and threatened them the same as they did her and they kept hanging up so. Def a scam
I got the same call and they told me the same thing you guys was saying. She said i hade 3 count against me. they said get the state send me certified letters and the bank sent me certified letters. But me and my wife never got a certified letter from anybody when I asked him what was my address they didn't know the address I just know my zip code.first time somebody call some guy named Robert Brooks.
Got called from (440) 249-7747 then blocked that line then got a call from (440) 249-6871 which I also blocked due to this being a scam. A day letter I rcv a similar message from a NY Number (716) 462-6257 stating the same type of stuff. neither would give physical address of there company. NY NorthAmerican Holdings did have a PO box so i filed a complaint with the Attorney General. Also North American Holdings is not a lisc business in the state of NY
