Got a call yesterday but I was busy and the number looked suspicious. Yesterday it was 440-249-7727. So when I saw this number call today, I answered out of curiosity. The guy said his name was James calling from pre-trial intervention about a pending case in his office. I hung up after that, knowing it was a scam. Hope they don't call again.
THIS PLACE IS SO NOT LEGIT IM NOT SURE HOW THEY EVER GOT MY NUMBER...THEY ARE VERY RUDE THEY CALL ONCE OR TWICE EVERYDAY.. I HAD SPOKEN TO A LADY WHO JUST KEPT TELLING ME THAT IM GOING TO JAIL I TOLD HER YEA OK...YOU A SHAM SHE TOLD ME SHE HAS THREE KIDS AND THAT IM GOING TO JAIL OVER AND OVER THEN HUNG UP...THEY KEEP CALLING I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO STOP THIS
I received a call today from 4402497856 n they say the same things as u guys I'm Goin to call back cause in the message they just kept saying you instead of my name
Received the same message from a recorded female voice, from the same number, and they change the numbers.. the number this time was 440-249-7860. Area code is from Ohio, and I've never been there, nor do I know anyone in that state. My bills are all paid, and I am a law abiding citizen, so it is most definitely a scam.. The caller id showed the name of the company as, "International", and the recorded message left said it was a Sarah Haines from "Pretrial Intervention". My rule of thumb...if it isn't a number that I don't know or recognize, I don't answer! Thankfully with my particular phone & my phone provider, I can block many of these calls. Another thing that pinpoints to this being a computer based scam, is that I called the 440-249-7860 number just now out of curiosity, and it is a construction company, when I explained what has been happening, she was very speechless and said that she is getting her IT team on it and speaking to her management team about it. These jerks making these calls are also going to make legitimate businesses suffer in the long run. Normally I don't return calls to numbers that I do not know, as I stated above, but I am glad that I did in this one case, so that an innocent business owner doesn't have his or her business damaged in the fray. I hope that this company can somehow prevent the scammers from using their phone number.
got the same phone call for the last three days same as the rest of you and like you they say I am going to jail and all kinds of stuff. I don't know anyone in Ohio or do I have any outstanding debt. but I did learn that a lot of the insurance company had they file hacked so if you every been in the hospital of doctors office they got your information but not SS# only phone number and address and medical records. anyway I told them to have me arrested I was friends with the judges here and I would see them in court bring it on they called me from 330-267-0358 Ohio
