And yet another unwanted call. I get at least 4-5 calls a day, ever since I signed up with Do Not Call. The Caller ID said "Unknown Name." I got it yesterday around 3pm. No message of course.
This morning, I got another one that said "Unknown Caller" with no number shown. No message. Like Washington Resident above, I never answer calls I don't recognize or don't want to talk to (maybe at that moment). Occasionally, Unknown Caller will be a legit one, so I waited for a message on this one. Nothing.
I've gotten calls from so-called carpet cleaning before, but from Nevada. Same thing: "Unknown Name" and no message of any kind.
I don't have digital phone, so I can't use all these fancy things people are talking about, like Google Voice. I guess I have what is an analog phone. It works fine for me, and I don't use the phone much anyway.
Being that I'm long term unemployed, and usually home when these types of calls come in (mornings, lunchtime, dinner time, and around 8-9pm), I pick up and hang up. It's what they are going to do anyway.
I wish I got this many calls from EMPLOYERS hiring.
I keep getting the same carpet cleaning call. Ive had over 20 calls & the person hangs up on me too. I asked to be taken off the list but it doesn't work. So annoying!
Not sure who called me but they left a brief 3 second half-@ss message just laughing. I tried calling back a few minutes after but the damn # was not in-service.
