Same thing as everything above. Michael Brooks in a country accent called. I pressed 1 as instructed because I wanted to see how far these people are going to take this SCAM. I was transferred to a VERY rude woman who asked to verify my name. I asked for the name of the company before i verified ANYTHING. She mumbled something that sounded like Kelly, Clan and Associates. I asked her to repeat and she wouldn't. I called back from a blocked number (*67 still works) and a man picked up. I told him my call was disconnected when I was getting the address so I can mail a payment (they play games and so can I). He started to tell me the address but someone in the background told him to stop. LOL. I've gotten calls from (937)247-6150 as well with the same story. Blah, blah, blah...they're going to send my file to the state and have me picked up. LOL. Poor schmucks!
I missed two before they left a message. A Michael Brooks calling from the fraud division (of what? no info there), and he is handling a case that "might" involve my name. Yeah. Ok. Scam.
Micheal Brooks, handling fraud division in a company he didnt name...saying they have a case associates with my name and social. He never said a company or my name, so yeah, this is a scam. Not calling back. Was getting a similar call from a female with a number very close to this.
I too received a message from the same guy, michael brooks with a country accent. He said it was a time sensitive matter regards to a case with my name and social. I haven't called back, as I've been scammed before with a similar case.
