Another one claiming a case has been filed against me and if I don't call him back I should "govern myself accordingly."  Jason from PTI Services....

I just received the same message.  I had my attorney call and he confirmed it was a debt collector.

Did they say for what company? As far as I know I have no accounts in collections.

They called me stating they were filing charges on me for an online account I had with advance america in 2012. I never used advance america...

They called me today and got the same "case filed against you, govern yourself accordingly"  message. I do have past credit card debts several years old that haven't been paid due to extreme financial hardship. Does anyone know if I can go to jail if i am served a summons and do not appear in court?
