I have started logging each number they call from on both my home and cell numbers into my contacts. Bad People 1, Bad People 2, etc., etc. That way I never pick up their stupid calls. Hopefully someday someone will get them to stop, but nothing I personally have done has ever worked.
They call me every day from about 10 numbers,so every time they call (i don't answer number i do not know) and then when it them i put it in my phone as do not answe.
Received a call from this number today. The number showed up as "No Name" on my phone.
I did not answer the phone nor did they leave a message.
However, I signed up for a free voice mail answering service several months ago called Youmail and that service listed the call as coming from PORTFOLIORECOV
I just recieved a call from 440-580-0720 from someone claiming to be a collections agent demanding payment on a debt for an account at Kay's Jewlers I closed way back in 1992 after my card was lost. The card was paid off then now here it is nearly 20 years later and they have sent me to collections and threatened suit if I don't pay on this old account which was already paid off once. The caller asked me to send him proof that the account was paid off and started yelling at me because I no longer have my reciepts. I mean who saves their recipts for 20 years! I have had other issues with these clowns in the past trying to collect on accounts I have never held. I have filed a complaint with the OH Attorney Generals Consumer Affirs Unit!
