This is absolutely Verizon. They are liars or the employee is uninformed when you call them out. Their numbers are from all over. They have called from Columbus, Indianapolis, Bethany, Batavia, Mentor and many more. They have the ability to call from anywhere they are a phone company. They are trying to trick you into answering the call. Their business practices are low.
This number calls CONSTANTLY. I dont know why as it is a strange dial tone no message. And I dont even owe them! Verizon is gonna lose a good customer!
they keep call my tracfone, paid up for 1 year, 616, 440, 513,614 area codes really ticking me off call everyday sometimes 3 times a day! I dont know how to block them
I got a call from this number on my cell phone and didn't answer it. They left a message claiming to be Verizon Wireless and wanted me to dial an 800 number as a "status change had been made to my account." I dialed from a land line and they "couldn't find" my cell phone number when I entered it. I then called Verizon Wireless' customer service and told them what happened. They reviewed my account and advised that no changes had been made, my account was current, and this was a phishing scam that had I either answered the phone or called them back from my cell phone, they would have "found" my number and then requested all types of personal information. Glad I never answer calls from numbers I don't know!
