I got the same phone call from Terry Anerson and said the same thing that I had a loan from a long time ago. He would not send me any proof plus I've never taken out a loan. I called the Police and they told me it was a scam because if you had a loan that someone was collecting on they would send certified papers to me. When i told him that he hung up on me. Very frustrating!!!!
I got a call from this guy name tery Anderson from litigation services who said I got a loan like 8 years ago n if I didn't try n settle this now that he was gonna send the papers to the court house I told him I didn't have anything but I never received anything the mail n I jus got my number changed as well so how he got my number amazes' me but I'm tryna figure out if this is a scam or not
I will bet you a nickel it IS a scam. Do a search for LITIGATION SERVICES SCAM. Also look through some of the other complaints lodged on this site. There are hundreds if not more, of reports of people getting similar calls, most of which are obvious scams because the people who got the calls never took out loans.
It sounds like you are unsure of whether or not you did take out a loan. Regardless of whether or not you did, the method described by the caller is not legal.
You have a new phone number. The call might have been meant for the person who had that number before. It could also be a totally random robo-dialed call.
Know your rights before you give anyone any money.

Hello! I just received a message also from Terry Anderson stating that if i didn't send any payment within 30 days that i would be arrested for a loan I don't remember. What happened with everyone else on this matter?
