This pushy, horrible guy just called my company trying to get everything but our plant mangers blood type out of me. Who do these IDIOTS think they are dealing with? Does this actually work on people? I called him back since it said it was a cell number and he answered all excited thinking the person he was looking for called him back. I lit into him! I get calls like his all day long but he took the cake acting like I was the rude one when he was beyond pushy! I am just floored right now people do this to make a living! It's certainly not an honest one!
Got a call from this number today. The caller asked for our Plt Mgr. I asked the caller who he was and what company he was with. I paged our Plt. Mgr. The Plt Mgr came in my office. I told the Plt Mgr who was on the phone. Our Plt Mgr. said "hold my calls as I am in a meeting. I told the caller I would put him into the Plt Mgr's voicemail. The caller, said, "you need to tell him I am on the phone". I told the caller I just did and was instructed to put him into the voicemail. The caller said "there is no way you talked to him just now". I told the caller, "yes I did. The Plt Mgr just came in and told me that" The caller said that I did not do that and kept saying I did not talk to the Plt Mgr. He said there was "no way I talked to our Plt Mgr". I said "Yes, he was standing here telling me to tell you that" The caller hung up after he kept insisting that I was lying.
This same man just called here and insisted that I give him our shop manager's cell number. When I told him that there was no way I could "look up" his personal cell number, he insisted that I could and that he could not understand what I meant by that. He hung up after I put him back on hold. He told me his name is Dave. He called here a few weeks ago and was less persistent when I told him I could not give him our shop manager's cell phone number. When he called today, he tried to tell me that someone gave it to him last time he called, but I am the only one who works the phone! Watch out for this guy. I have no idea what he wants, but it cannot be good.
Dave just called me also from this number. I am the facilities manager of a school and he tried to trick me in to buying light bulbs from him. He acted like we had worked together before and was offering a free gift as a way to say Happy Easter. This is a scam. DO NOT give him your address or agree to have him send you ANYTHING.
Same thing. Guy is fishing and hung up on me. During his initial call he lied with his information in attempt to get phone numbers that out company does not give out. Additionally he said that he just got off the phone with one of our supervisors and that our supervisor left him a message with the cell phone number. He said he could not hear the cell phone that was given. This is when he hung up. I called him back to find the nature of his call and he was very rude with me. I asked him why he called again and he said he never called. I told him our caller id and recorded call say otherwise. I have the call recorded in the event he continually calls our company to harass us.
This is most likely a skip tracer who is paid to find and locate people for either debt or other information.
Warn your company of this man. Fortunately he is not very good at his job and easy to see through.
"Dave the electrician" just called our construction company 443-603-7711 (Caller ID). Couldn't be more rude and when I politely told him the person he was looking for was not in the office at the moment and offered him voicemail he replied with "I'm not understanding what you're saying. He has to be there, I just got a call from him." and then he told me to put him on hold and "Go round him up for me." like I was his personal assistant. At this point I was fuming so I called our shop manager who told me he'd never heard of "Dave". Dave hung up before I could get back on the phone and tell him what I really thought of him. I'm actually hoping he calls back so I can be as lovely to him as he was to me!
