I never answer these calls identified as SVC. They previously called: 9/18/14 from 425 406 9529; 9/15/14 from 541 257 1433; 9/10/14 from 458 201 1262. Fortunately, my national cell blocker service (free) has nailed them all after one ring.
Caller ID said Eugene OR. Did not answer, since we don't talk to cities or towns (which seems to be the recent trend in telemarketing) or anyone else we don't recognize. They didn't leave a message.
They just called, left no message. Caller ID said Eugene Oregon, nothing else. I let my answering machine pick up all these calls. Getting tons more garbage calls lately. I am even getting some on my cell phone, which I don't give out that number to too many people at all. Oh well, glad for caller ID and answering machines and voicemail.
One reason they do not answer when you pick up is because of the do not call registry. They try to get you to call them back. If you do then they can claim you contacted them. My advice is to just let it ringring. If it is a legitamite call they will leave a messagw.
