This is simply a new way the scammers operate. They call, hang up and hope you will call back. That's how they get around the laws. You called them.
So if you see a call come in from an unknown zip code and number, one option is to not answer, and do not call back. Simply plug the number into Google and if it shows pages like this one block the number.
Honestly the idiots on these pages saying things like 'stop calling me' convince me that we are doomed as a species. How ignorant can you get?
I just got a call from this number, I think someone needs to do something about this!! They call and hang up before you can answer, don't leave a message in hope that you will call back and then they are able to start running up the bill on your number!! They need to stop these scam calls!!!!!!!
You better check with your provider, there are scams that they want you to call back so they have your number and will run up your bill. That area code and exchange comes up as in Mexico.
