against this number. As long as we keep on reporting these different phone numbers on this site we can help each other out with information as to what calls are scams and the ones that are legitimate companies. 99.9% of the calls to my house are scams or telemarketers. Either way, I don't ever pick up my phone(house or cell), unless it's someone I know that I have preprogrammed their number into my Caller ID myself. The rest I Google and check out on this website. Once confirmed as a scam or telemarketing call then I instantly block the number. Thank you all for inputting the information for us to share. : )
I have researched the Do Not Call 'list' subject. When you register on that list, all solicitors are informed that you do not wish to be called and to please stop. If they do not wish to comply, no charges or fines are held against them.
Maybe it is different state to state.
