I received a recorded message which states I am entitled to a medical alert system which was been approved by my health care provider and is free of charge of the system and free shipping. Press one to verify this is the correct shipping address and 5 to notify your health care provider that you have refused the system. I am not dumb enough to press any number. I am sure it is a scam and my health care provider BETTER NOT be giving out my information. I would like to talk to a real person to see if I could find that out. Being on the Do Not Call List does not prevent all these calls.
I received a call from "ALERT 458-201-1674" at 3:10 p.m. today. Out of curiosity I answered it and it was a recording that said, "Do not hang up!" Click, I immediately hung up.
Receive frequent calls from this number. I quit answering because when I did there was nobody live, only a recording. They never leave a voice mail. Call I.D. was "ALERT"
I am 75 years of age. I received a recorded call from 458-201-1674 which started off by stating that AARP and my health care provider had arranged for me to receive a free medic alert device. I believe that they said that it was worth $3,000. Then they said to stay online and someone would take the needed information for shipment. I hung up at that time. Should I notify AARP?
