ID said Alert. I never answer unknown names or numbers but we do have an alert system so I bit. Starts out sounding very authentic. Ends up being Life Alert. This company is a scammer and to make a call that appears at first to be an authentic alert is downright criminal. They need to be stopped.
I received two phone calls within 5 minutes of each other. The first was from area code 901, which I discovered is the Medic Alert scammers and never answered. My caller ID on the second call from area code 458 said ALERT, and I assumed it might be the Medic Alert scammers using another number, so I never answered this call. The phone rang only 4 times and stopped, a sure sign of a robo-call scam of some type.
