Caller identified herself as Senior Care USA. The message before the call said that they were giving away free grocery coupons as well as free medical alert equipment to seniors. When I punched the numeral 1 to get an operator, she told me that she would record my call. I told her that she did not have my permission, and she said she was recording it anyway. When I pointed out that was illegal in California, she hung up. n November and December of 2013, I received similar calls from Senior Alert Care, Senior Assistance Program , and Senior Life Alarm.
