Hey people, it is simple. If you have caller ID look before you answer the phone. If you don't recognize the name and or number DON'T ANSWER! Just because you have a phone you are not required by law to answer any call that you receive. We have not answered any unknown callers in 3 or 4 years and then block their number so they don't get through if they do try to call. It is simple and so peaceful.
I get robo calls from these folks about once a month. I finally filed a complaint at https://complaints.donotcall.gov I have been registered on the Do Not Call list for many years but you do not have to be registered there to complain about robo calls. If enough of us complain then the FCC will fine them really big bucks and perhaps put a dent in this practice.
I have to answer the calls. I am the receptionist. Most scammers are out of my area code. Since I work for a franchise of an international corporation, I have to answer the calls. I don't know which ones are legitimate. I will just add this number to my list of useless numbers. I have over 400 in the year that I have been keeping track. Some have called multiple times. I started putting down dates and times. We also have multiple lines coming in. They don't always call on the same line. I'm just as tired as all others of these useless people. I don't know what their game is. I don't want to play.
