Microsoft scam. I asked the guy "which computer" to which he responded "any of them". I said, Ok I'm at my iMac, what next? He told me to go to a windows computer. So, then I asked if my iPad was windows because that was all I had that wasn't iMac. He hung up on me.
I just had call from this # 458-201-2357. Tried to tell me he was from Microsoft and there was a problem with my computer. I just hung up. Yesterday I had an unknown caller who said he was from Microsoft. I asked him if he was from Microsoft why did he come up as an unknown caller. I told him he was scamming people and I was reporting this to the police. He tried to keep me on the phone but I hung up. I just got another call from unknown! Well if it is important then they will leave a message!
Called on a different number, I hung up, called again on this number. Both numbers (458-201-2357 and 914-499-3010) running same scam. Listened (but didn't do the computer commands) long enough to know he was trying to set up remote access.
Got a call from this number at 7:30 AM that ended when the machine picked up. I don't answer calls from numbers unknown to me, but it is annoying. Caller Id says only ARSH; I have no idea what that stands for.
