This number texted my son in response to his Craigslist add to sell his car. Told my son he was in the military and couldn't come look at the car, but wanted to buy it. Then he sent a "pending" PayPal payment that instructed my son to go to Walmart and wire the $500 transport fee. Of course we knew it was a scam, and an easy to spot one at that. But I wanted to warn as many people as I can.
Same story here. Replied to a Craigslist posting. Said he was an Army officer and couldn't come look at the car. Now he's giving me pay pal instructions. I'm going to string him along just to mess with him.

Wow this dude is persistent!! same story for me, texting me and saying he will buy the car i have listed on craigslist, and that he is in the military. you know, I really appreciate the men and women in our service, And really hope he is not giving them a bad rap! Wish he would make better use of his time!! And thanks all for the heads up!
I received this text from this number saying he wanted to buy my trailer. Aked him to call, but he wouldn't call. I called him and someone with a foreign accent answered. He said he was in the military (Army)and was out in the field so he couldnt talk. Conitinued texting him asking him what is his MOS and told him I served also and now work law enforcement. He hasnt replied back.
Same thing with my daughter tonight. I felt uneasy from the get go with this person. Through Craigliat. Claimed to be military. Was eager to send payment immediately. Stated he would send transport for the car.
