This number texted my son in response to his Craigslist add to sell his car. Told my son he was in the military and couldn't come look at the car, but wanted to buy it. Then he sent a "pending" PayPal payment that instructed my son to go to Walmart and wire the $500 transport fee. Of course we knew it was a scam, and an easy to spot one at that. But I wanted to warn as many people as I can.
3 mins after publishing Craigslist add on my car, this number texted. So I looked up the area code, from Oregon, I am in Tennessee. Who would want a PT Cruiser that lives that far away? Scam from 1st text. Thanks to all on here.
Texted at 11:20am on 11-5-15 about a van I was selling. I answered the questions and said if you wanted more info to call as I don't like texting. He continued to text and his English and grammar isn't how most people speak. It is quite obvious that it is a scam so I have now blocked the number.
