They are calling for my ex-husband's new wife. Ugh no I don't know how to get a hold of them and if I knew where they lived I would be more than happy for you to serve legal papers to them. TRUST ME I would love for my ex-husband to be in trouble with the law. However they refuse to quit calling me on my cell phone.
Same deal here -have gotten a call two days in a row from these people. The person that called said her name was Tracy and was trying to deliver legal documents for someone in my family that lives in an entirely different state. Told them that she didn't live here and to please stop calling. She said they wouldn't stop calling until I delivered the message with case ID # and they received a call back. That's when I lost it on her and she hung up about halfway through my rant.
Same here. They mentioned the name of a family member in another state and said they were sending legal documents. (My family member has no knowledge of any legal documents.) I laughed at the caller and told her there was no way I was going to give her any information over the phone. She hung up.
This is an extortion attempt to scare you into paying for some made up balance due on a loan that does not exist. IF you actually did owe $$$ a written notification is needed. Phone calls, emails and faxes do not count. Do not worry about any threats these thieves tell you. IF you did owe it would be a civil matter. The police would not be involved. It is also illegal to make threats to you.
Got a call from this number twice today. Guy says its a court summons and gives an 888 number to call. Call that number and they ask for social. Um nope!! They rudely responded "see you in court!" And hang up. OK then. See u I court. What a joke. Don't give these jerks any info.
