I answered on the third ring. No response. The elections are over. It's Feb. 2015 now. Why would they even bother calling if they aren't going to speak when you answer?

We are on the DO NOT CALL list for the GOV and get calls every day, late at night, weekends, whatever. What does it take to get the government and our phone companies to protect us from this. Many of them are scams and a lot of them target senior citizens.

As a rule, I don't bother answering calls from area code/numbers that I don't recognize, especially if they call repeatedly. And if they continue calling, I may google the number. As for this number, from this feed, I now know it's political soliciting, yeah, elections are next week, so now I can chose to answer or not.
