New car dealers sell your contact info as you are driving your new vehicle off the lot. They claim they don't but when I bought a new care a few years ago I gave them my work cell #..They are the only ones I ever gave that secure/private number to, my bad, and on the date that the manufactures warranty ran out I started getting calls every day. The last time I bought a new car I had one of those throw away phones. Gave them that number and when I didn't need the phone anymore I tossed. It's been 5 years since I bought a new care and nary a POS call has been received. Woo hoo! Rat [***] all.
Sandra, I freakin love this page. I have it bookmarked on all my computers and do the same you did. At first ring I tap the numbers in and catch em quick. Kudos to whomever set this up!
Folks, these POS marketers get their listing from new car dealerships. There is a lot of money in this scam. When you buy a new car be sure to give your salesman the stink eye, get his/her home number and give it to the POS marketers when they call you. :-}
