These clowns have nothing to do with google. They are looking for informaiton and if you give them anything but
a hard time you will never get rid of them. Much like cockroaches -- you gotta burn the house down to get rid of
them.
From what I can tell, it's a handful of companies. The change names every now and then once their reputation precedes them. Not one of them is actually Google. I haven't gotten a call from one yet that sounds like they actually improve your web site, or does anything that you can't do by listing yourself in Google Places. They claim they are Google Specialists, but I really doubt that. Google Partners are listed at https://www.google.com/partners/ and I would definitely check here to verify if they are partner before doing business with them. Also, since they illegally telemarket, I just simply wouldn't do business with even if they were a Google Partner.
