This same guy Chris Johnson called me told me I had to pay $900 by 5pm if I didnt I was going to be arrested....This is a scam don't give them anything.
Total scam and violation of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Only judges issues warrants and the are only issued to duly constituted law enforcement authorities on the basis of a presentation that there is probably cause that the person named has committed a crime. Warrants are only served by duly constituted officers of the law. Being in ordinary civil debt is NOT a crime and you can't be arrested for it. Debt collectors have no influence on the criminal justice system.
Since law enforcement is handled by public agencies, why would a private law firm be calling you about an arrest in ANY case? Like I say, total scam.
So far as I can see there is no law office known as World Recovery.

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a dime until the debt is validated

Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them .
