Received 1st recorded message from 469-287-7833 on May 21,2015 then received another recorded message on June 2,2015 from 206-801-5201. Same voice, same message. I am now reporting both incidents on the IRS website.

If you get a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS and asking for money, here’s what you should do:
If you know you owe taxes or think you might owe, call the IRS at 1.800.829.1040. The IRS workers can help you with a payment issue.
If you know you don’t owe taxes or have no reason to believe that you do, report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) at 1.800.366.4484 or at www.tigta.gov.
You can file a complaint using the FTC Complaint Assistant; choose “Other” and then “Imposter Scams.” If the complaint involves someone impersonating the IRS, include the words “IRS Telephone Scam” in the notes.

I received a call from a representative claiming to be a spokesperson for the IRS today. The phone number that she called from is 469-287-5537. since I couldn't pick up the phone on time, she sent me a text message stating:
"Hope to hear from you soon before charges are pressed against you. Thank you"
When I did call this number a lady answered. I tried to get her name but couldn't understand her due to a heavy ( possibly Indian) accent. She claimed that the IRS has made repeated attempts to contact me concerning this matter. She claimed the charge against me was an attempt to deceive the IRS. Although I didn't get her name, she stated that the charges were on batch number IR159328 and the case number was CH726295. The deception code is 6331H. She claimed that I owe the IRS $4982.17. This all sounds like a hoax. However, I went on the IRS website and cannot prove anything either way. Their fraud hotline number only allows for a voicemail. Since I am in the middle of a Mortgage Refinance with another bank to get a lower interest rate, I don't need this type of financial trouble. She also stated that this would ding my credit rating by at least a 100 points. I requested to have her or the IRS send me something in either snail mail or email and she refused with the attitude that it was too late for that. Also, she said that my Social Security wages would be garnished.
