this person called my cell number and stated that I was the emergency contact for my daughter and that she has two claims against her in state of MN. I am calling the attorney general on this number and I think anyone else who gets calls like this should also call. save your voice mails.
Got a call from this number looking for another family member of mine. They stated they have fraud charges against them. I called back and asked them how they got my name and phone number and they wouldnt answer they just kept asking me if i knew this person. I told them yes i know them, but i am do not want to be involved. They then hung up on me. It was very strange.
Got a call from this number telling me I was the emergency contact for a family member and that they have two felony fraud charges against them and they need to call them immediately. This felt bogus from the onset so I did some looking around. This is a VOiP number listed as being in Texas and the family member in question has no outstanding warrants (you can check this stuff online as it is public information) - I'm sure they would for two felony fraud charges and the local sheriff would have been knocking and not some guy on a VOiP from Texas. So I called the back and confronted them wanting information on who they are affiliated with, what court or legal firm, etc and that I doubt the validity of this. Eric Michaels told me, "The ball is in my court. If I don't relay the information, (family member) will be in custody within the hour." Called the FTC and filed a complaint.
Received numerous calls form 469-293-3556 and TEXAS 512-230-1243. The worst today was first of all from a woman named Anna Wardlow (yeah, what a name). Exactly two minutes later the same 469-293-3556 called again and left a message which I did save in which he stated a family member has been injured and this number was his emergency contact number. I just listened and recorded him and then the TEXAS number came up 512-230-1243. These people need to get a life. That is a pretty sick trick. They need to at least find a name of a family member that is really a family member. Called to file complaints with the local law officials as well at the FTC.
do not give ANY MONEY to them. They are scammers. They called me about my brother saying the same thing. I posed as an attorney and they stopped calling him.
