Yeah got the call, saying some guy was hurt and I was his emergency contact. I said I didn't know this person and they instantly hung up. I than called back and was greeted by the rudest SOB in Texas. Calling me a [***] and threatening me for calling them! Imagine that lol. I told him to remove my number, I asked before and he said they had and to stop calling them or they would have me arrested lol. He hung up on me and so I called him back at which point he cursed me out and hung up on me again.
Thing is the guy they were asking for I think had this number before me, about 6 years ago now, because it was the name that all of these collection companies were calling for back when I first got the number. I finally got it to stop but the last two months it has picked up again. It is really annoying as poo.
I filed a complaint with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Got a call from Anna Wardlow on a new number for my business! Thanks for all your posts that has helped a lot! I do like the person that said he started calling them back and harassing them! The phone number was 469-293-3556. It always amazes me how these people get our numbers!
