Literally called my elderly parents home and THREATENED to bring document papers to their house! This company had to dig really deep into some old files because I haven't lived in my parent's house in over 30 years! The nastiest people work for this firm. I really plan to file some type of complaint for sure. This is ridiculous to harass the elderly.
I am here, of course, because i had to google this number and now I see I am not the only one appalled by these tactics. I have NO NAME and was just told legal documents would be presented to me tomorrow. I am not omniscient, but I do know that protocol is completely wrong.Who is to be held responsible for this harassment? Who is to be sued?
These people are ruthless and totally "not legit". If someone were going to serve papers on you they would not give you a warning, period!!! What they want is for you to agree to pay "them" to keep it from happening. They cannot be stopped as are constantly changing their numbers. I hit the ignore any time I see a number such as this. Ignore them!!!! I have noticed that it seems to happen if I apply for credit online such as for a credit card. Somehow they have a way of getting info via the web. If you do answer, when they state your name, either say "wrong number" or repeat to them everything they say....it irritates them. I am a collector and nothing they say is legal!!!
My husband just received a call from this number stating that they would be serving him with sealed legal documents between 9:00 and 4:00 tomorrow. I have experience with scams such as these, and that is why I googled the number and found this. This is terrorism and I dearly wish someone could put a stop to it.
I have received a numerous amount of calls from these people over the past year. I have a total of 10 numbers that these people have called me from (4693275681, 8886862848,2145042986,7574532117,888,2788565,2028035785,8554927141,3133478644,2024172021,6032962314,8024485539,4702372331). Every voicemail says the same thing. They've even called my mother's home saying that they are trying to reach me with legal documents, which my mother is very aware of this scam. I have turned in a numerous amount of numbers to the FTC, but nothing has been done as of yet. I am so sick and tired of these people calling me every month about nothing. I don't owe anyone anything! How can we band together to stop such harassment?
They called me and asked for me as if we were friends then she went into this spiel about how they were going to serve me with legal documents tomorrow. Then she asked me if I was Sharon (my last name) I said no I don't know her. Too bad we cant get a class action suit against them for irregular collection practices. I went to Nebraska to purchase a vehicle, which I paid cash for. So I don't have any liens nor do I owe anyone. Especially from Texas. I did reject this number though.
