I just received a couple of phone calls from this number. The voice mail said that it is an important legal matter and not to ignore it and to call back as soon as possible. The person who left the voice mail had a thick East Indian or Pakistani accent and called him self James, since the area code is from Texas this didn't make sense.
This number has repeatedly called and asked to speak with my husband. They speak with a thick accent and threaten to have him arrested if he does not pay them money he "owes".
I just received a call from Sam Taylor, he said he is a paralegal & do I owe to payday. He said criminal charges are being filed against me, my social security will be stopped if I don't pay him $689.24 right now.
TO ALL - This is a scam. You can NOT be arrested even if you did owe money. IGNORE the calls - give them NO information. You would be informed in writing IF you really did owe. Debt is a CIVIL matter and you will not go to jail, have social security cut off, etc. If in doubt, contact your local civil court.
