TO ALL - This is a scam. You can NOT be arrested even if you did owe money. IGNORE the calls - give them NO information. You would be informed in writing IF you really did owe. Debt is a CIVIL matter and you will not go to jail, have social security cut off, etc. If in doubt, contact your local civil court.
Yeah right......and indian or pakastani with a name like david brown ! What a laugh ! Maybe hadje patel would have been more convincing. They even called myt work when i didn't return his call. That's when I really got pissed and called him to inform him that he was now under investigation. Suddenly the calls stopped but i will not !
"Travis Marshall called and told me that I under indictment. I told him to [***] off, called up an atty friend who sues debt collectors and spoke with the FBI who had me fill out a complaint with 1c3.gov. They called me at work.
Got a call from these people saying I was going to be served papers at work and go to jail for thirty days. It messed with me at first because they actually knew where I worked
I too have received several calls from this man on my cell and at work. And he uses multiple phone numbers, this one from Texas, and one from Washington DC. He told me he was going to have the Federal Marshall come arrest me! He got very obnoxious when I attempted to get any information. I blame myself for these calls, as I was looking online to re-finance my mortgage, and gave out too much personal information to a site that I didn't recognize. Ignoring him does not work, as he persists. Filing a complaint might stop him in the short term.
