Have gotten calls from them about felonies and they have called people in my family that have the same last name. They tell people i am facing felonies, but they don't even tell me what they are on MY voice mail.
They called at 0601 waking the baby. They were looking for a person who I do not know. They left a long message. I called back to complain about the hr of the call and to have the number removed from their data. The lady told me "What do you want me to do, rock the baby to sleep?" I was shocked. I called back later to complain and got a man who said that it is not against the law to call. I told him it wasn't for me and the hour was not before 0800 and I was on the do not call list. He said I was taken off their list. Still fuming about the way I was treated...
Every member of my family has received a call from this company today, looking for my youngest son. Once they tracked down his phone number (which they did not get from us), they told him they would issue a warrant by noon today if he did not pay OTP for a bad check written (would not identify to whom or where) in May 2010. He was not able to write checks at that time, as he was out of state and not in a position to even have a checking account, let alone access to a checkbook. I did a reverse phone # lookup and found that the number calling (469-351-3498) is actually a cell phone in Irving, TX. The person calling also had my son's SSN, BDate, and an old address to "validate" their purpose for calling. It has him worried on multiple levels and scared out of his wits.

The number may have been a real persons phone number that has been spoofed by extortion scammers. They can make the call look like its comes from any where in the world by spoofing the caller id. Your caller has one thing in mind, and that is to extort money out of you.
One important thing to remember if these losers have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!!
