Peace Brothers & Sisters.... if this is some scam to see if you're home for a break-in then this broken soul will have problems in Texas. In Good Ol' Texas almost everyone owns guns and such dastardly folk shall be met with "extreme prejudice" and possibly further criminal activity will be terminated. It's a story as old as humanity with the techno twist of modern times... nevertheless, the solution is ancient.
I answer quickly and they must recognize my voice and remain silent, wetting themselves... how amusing.
Here again people, EXCUSE is not spelled accuse............McDUH !
If you do not recognize the phone number DO NOT ANSWER IT.
If it is someone who knows you, of you or whatever and really needs to speak with you they will leave
a Voice Message or send you a certified latter in the mail.
Just because the phone rings does not mean you have to drop your drawers, and run because it most likely
is not that importance and may also be some BS caller .....................Get real!
Once you answer your phone when these calls through, then the robo-dialer indicates
a VALID number and selects it to be called. These systems do not have a set method for
dialing. The owner-operator simply inputs a bank of numbers such 999-999-0000 to 9999
and then auto-dials looking for VALID numbers. It does not matter how many lists and
DNC etc. you are on, the robo-dialer sequentially runs the bank of numbers.
SO RULE OF THE GAME - IF YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER DON'T ANSWER
THE CALL.
If someone really wants to make contact with you then they will leave a voice message or send you
a letter.....
Calls our house frequently but never leaves a message. "Unknown" on caller ID. We are unlisted and on the do not call registry so how do we stop these calls?
