Yup, same Treasury/IRS scam call. Suggest playing with them and saying the most culturally offensive thing you can think of. For instance, if you believe caller is of Hindu religion, talk about how much you love eating cows, and how God put cows on earth for you to eat, and in fact, that you're a rancher, about to go out and butcher a cow for a nice juicy steak.
when I cam home today, there was a long message repeated three times on my answering machine from James Caston of the US Treasury. that reached the message recording limit. The obviously recorded message kept asking me to call 469-424-2173, to avoid legal action. the messaged ended with the request "help us to help you"
yes, i too got the voice mail from the phony james carston with foreign accent. obviously but i didn't call back as it was very obvious that he was fraud.
Most of these calls are coming out of India and Pakistan where we have no jurisdiction! Now, if you have a newer call blocking device, if they use the same area code, block it by area code!
