Scam call by an Indian guy (named James Caxton) warning that an enforcement action has been taken against me by the US Treasury. Failure to action this will be taken as avoidance to appear before a magistrate or grand jury. Must be tax season with people scamming the old ladies out of their refund check.
Got a scam phone call from this number. Indian guy leaving obscure message threatening some kind of legal action from Government if I didn't respond. I stupidly responded but there was no answer, a long pause, followed by a busy signal. Guy was a little difficult to understand but he probably was posing as a US. treasury agent as others have reported. Where can I report this scam call so this doesn't happen again or if this guy can be prosecuted or punished in some way?
