It turns out this is a fellow with an Indian accent trying to get me to speak with an agent about buying insurance for my funeral expenses. He didn't ask for anyone by name or give any information, and he didn't get a chance to ask me for any information. I asked them to send the info in the mail, and I declined to speak any further about it.
This caller might be operating several different kinds of scams from this number - like magazines, sweepstakes, computer hacks - but they might have targeted me because I return-mailed a postcard asking for more information about the bogus insurance (I didn't give them my phone on that, though - only the info that was already on the card, address).
My caller was nice enough, as was I. He politely apologized for the bother, although it really was no problem to me. They seem to be up to no good, though, for sure. Don't talk with them.
If you call my phone one more time I going to file a lawsuit for harassment, you call me phone all the time and I don't even own a freaking credit card. Please note this is not a recording, and yes this is an important message.
Caller ID shows 'Rockwall TX'. This caller has suddenly become active, but no one seems to know what they're up to, yet. They've rung us on our landline about five times in the previous couple of days here in middle Georgia.
We regret that the magic 8 ball & Ouija board are out for waxing & repair. Please consider call blocking from your service provider, a cell phone app, or land line blocking device.
